intoDNA awarded funding through the European Funds for Smart Economy (FENG) under the “Ścieżka SMART” program
intoDNA has been selected by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) to receive funding as part of European Funds for Smart Economy (FENG) under the Ścieżka SMART program. With this financing, intoDNA will pursue developing an innovative method to detect and measure replication stress directly within eukaryotic cells and tissues.
intoDNA R&D project, “Development and Implementation of a New Method for Direct Detection and Measurement of Replication Stress in Human Cells and Tissues,” focuses on developing an innovative method to detect and measure replication stress directly within eukaryotic cells and tissues, offering a significant leap in sensitivity and specificity compared to existing techniques.
What Makes This Project Unique?
- STRIDE Technology Expansion: Building on our proven DNA break detection technology, this project introduces the ability to locate ongoing replication stress processes in cells.
- Simple, Fast, and Non-Invasive: Utilizing advanced microscopic analysis, the method will be accessible and universal, suitable for both preclinical and clinical research.
- Broad Applications: The new tool will empower researchers to explore replication stress mechanisms in greater depth, potentially identifying new therapeutic targets.
Why Does This Matter?
The outcomes of our research will have profound implications for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries:
- Enhanced understanding of replication stress mechanisms for cutting-edge scientific insights.
- Improved assessment of drug effectiveness, particularly in oncology (e.g., DDR inhibitors).
- Practical applications in preclinical and clinical drug development pipelines.
IntoDNA’s innovative technology will target a growing market of approximately 100 global players in the preclinical and clinical research space, including biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical corporations, and research institutions like universities.
We are excited about the possibilities this project unlocks and the benefits it can bring to science and medicine. Stay connected by following our updates as we bring this ambitious vision to life.
