Magda Kordon CEO, Founder
Magda is a co-founder of intoDNA and she has a research background in biophysics, cell biology and the fields of biology of cell nucleus, chromatin structure, DNA damage repair and CRISPR-Cas biology. She earned her Masters and PhD in cell biophysics at Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She was also a visiting PhD student at UC Davis, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and UMass Medical School. For years Magda has been devoted not only to science, but also to music and the violin.
Kamil Solarczyk CTO, Founder
Kamil is a biophysicist and a co-founder of intoDNA. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in biophysics from Jagiellonian University in Krakow and has 8+ years of research experience in the field of DNA damage and repair mechanisms. An experienced microscopist trained in several techniques with an in-depth understanding of the principles of image formation, is still excited whenever he is about to look through an eyepiece. His desire for discoveries extends to other disciplines, such as music, as he is always thrilled at the possibility of discovering new sounds.
Mirek Zarębski Founder
Mirek is an assistant professor at Department of Cell Biophysics and co-founder of intoDNA. He is an experienced microscopist, fascinated by new ways to image and study cells and the cell nucleus. He has a PhD in Biophysics and 13 years of experience in studies on DNA and chromatin at Jagiellonian and during a scholarship at Oxford University. His scientific interests are focused on developing new methods and equipment to induce, detect and observe DNA damage and repair processes. Game geek.
Jurek Dobrucki Founder
Jurek is a professor of biophysics, and head of Department of Cell Biophysics, Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology, Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He is co-founder of intoDNA. His previous long and short term appointments were at Cambridge University, UK, University of Illinois, USA, Dartmouth College, USA, Max Planck Institute, Germany, CNRS, France, Malaghan Institute of Medical Research, New Zealand. His scientific interests are focused on biology of DNA, and modern microscopy techniques. He loves skiing, kayaking and hiking.
